Burbeck Group is a company founded over 10 years ago by two developer brothers that wanted to bridge the gap in the market by providing the best quality home staging and show home packages possible. As developers we understood the importance of staging our properties to achieve the highest price on the market and maximising the appeal during the viewing process. However, back then we were always dissatisfied with the quality of service and furniture provided by other staging companies in the show home and staging industry at the time. Burbeck was therefore created to try and provide a higher level of service and quality with a real emphasis on design to truly maximise any properties appeal and value beyond any other interiors company in the market.

Burbeck quickly built a strong reputation as the leading home staging business in London. By following the growing demand for further design and project management services, the company quickly added more strings to the bow by building out an interior design team that focused on the design, procurement and installation of bespoke (FF&E) furniture schemes as well as detailed interior architecture services that include project and design management.

We have therefore spent a huge amount of time sourcing and procuring furniture from around the world for multiple different jobs all with their own taste and budget. We have seen design trends change through the years, with some destined for the bin of regret and others solidified as iconic. We have worked with every budget out there. Sourcing more cost-effective furniture items for budget conscious clients to procuring a single item for tens of thousands of pounds. There are companies we enjoy procuring from and others that we don’t, be it for their customer service, quality of product or for simply the price and value of the items available.

We have now taken everything we have learnt from our many years of working in the industry and implemented it into our new luxury furniture and home décor e-commerce store, Burbeck at home (B at HOME). We aim to build on all the positives we have experienced whilst procuring for our clients and property staging business. Therefore, we intend to deliver a new furniture e-commerce shopping experience that mirrors that of our home staging and show homes services provided by Burbeck Group. We want to deliver an exciting shopping experience with an emphasis on quality, design, customer service and affordability. All underpinned by an ethos of sustainability.

Quality

All items are made to the highest standard that we would expect ourselves when procuring for our client’s or home staging business. Were we can we use soft close drawers on metal runners. Soft and luxurious fabrics all fire rated to meet UK standards. Solid woods and high-quality veneers are used on all our products increasing the weight of each item making them sturdy and durable. We want our products to last so to move away from the idea of fast furniture.

We have taken inspiration from the home furnishings and interior design world around us, to deliver a wide range of products with their own style and identity. The products available therefore do not fit into one particular look or trend and can be used for any home.

Sustainability

We are trying to move towards a more sustainable future for the world of interiors, furniture and home decor. This means our products are designed to last, they are durable and well built. We also try and use sustainable woods were possible with emphasis on sourcing woods from the rubber tree. This is deemed to be a sustainable practice as the tree itself is primarily planted for the sap it produces which is farmed to be used in rubber production. Once the tree reaches the end of its life it can provide a second use for furniture production. Some of our items are also made from reclaimed or recycled woods, when this is the case it is indicated on the product description of that item.
